💧 Keep away from water, sweat & perfumes – they can fade the finish

There is no tarnish free jewelries but only tarnish resistant. Plated jewelry can tarnish over time. Here is why:
- Plating is just a thin layer of gold, silver, rhodium, etc., over a base metal (like brass, copper, or stainless steel).
- Everyday wear, moisture, sweat, lotions, and perfumes can slowly wear away that layer, exposing the base metal.
- Once the base metal is exposed, it can oxidize and darken — that’s when you see tarnish or discoloration.
However — not all plating behaves the same:
- Gold-plated over stainless steel (like yours) tends to last longer and resist tarnish better than gold-plated over brass or copper.
- Proper care — storing in a dry place, avoiding chemicals/water, and wiping after wear — can keep it looking new much longer.
✨ Take care of your treasures, and they'll always shine for you ✨
